- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I called after being referred by the ER twice for kidney stones. Tried to call DR USITALO, HOWARD office in Chelsea back to get an appointment. This is the place I was referred to when in left er. I told receptionist it was a 3mm stone... she said "oh you can pass that".... duh! I've been trying to pass it since the end of june. If I could have passed it I wouldn't still be sitting here in pain! So I asked "are you refusing to treat me?" She said no but her "surgeons" are for emergencies. I said "isn't the emergency room for emergencies? Shall I expect a $60 copay from you for telling me in can pass it myself?" She laughed and said ... "more like $300" and hung up on me. So I am left to feel this is a "special office" for "special doctors".... my pain, pain duration, possible renal collic, swelling are all non important.March 12, 2017by Christy Dykins
